Summer Bible Study Group

OPKO Summer Bible Study Group on Tuesdays at 18.00 (6pm) between 22.5.-28.8. in Kupittaan seurakuntakoti, Sirkkalankatu 4.

Summer Bible Study Group is an English-Finnish small group that is open for everyone. Finnish is always translated or summarized into English. Please, take your English Bible with you if you have one.

Glad Tidings Bible Studies

Glad Tidings Bible Studies (GTBS) on Tuesdays at 16.15 (4.15pm) in Sirkkalankatu 4. See the program below.

Glad Tidings Bible Studies will continue in September.

The study group is for both Christians and non-Christians. Welcome to read the Bible, discuss it and meet other students!

Each time we read a short text from the Bible (Gospels) and discuss it. We use questions that help us to imagine ourselves in the situation described in the text and to find the text relevant to our own lives. GTBS is a way to study the Bible that is dearly loved in many parts of the world. Questions have already been translated into 25 languages. Many people have felt Jesus speaking to them personally in these Bible studies. Read more about GTBS from GTBS homepage.

We meet on Tuesdays at 16.15 in Kupittaan seurakuntakoti, Sirkkalankatu 4. If you can't find your way, please call to Mikko, 0505645889. There's Student Evening either in Finnish or in English after the GTBS.

Each meeting is independent so it is OK to come just once or twice.

Game evenings, sports, and other activities

Indoor sports on Sundays at 18.00-19.00 in Puropelto School ("Puropellon koulu"), Sepänkatu 11. We play "sähly" (like floorball, but not so professional) with Finnish students in the schools gymnasium. Please take your own floorball stick ("sählymaila") with you, if you have one. Price: 2€/turn or 10€/semester.
